about t12
Bowerhill, the site of a former RAF base between 1942 and 1965 and known as “Technical Training Camp 12”, provides the salon with its unique name and identity.
After previously housing 10,000 military personnel at Bowerhill, T12 is now home to a hugely talented team of stylists, beauticians, nail technicians and a Thai masseur.
T12 (formerly The Base) is headed up by owner and Creative Director Vanessa Robinson with over 40 years of hairdressing experience.
T12 aims to deliver high quality hair and beauty services in a stylish salon environment. We want T12 to become one of the premier salons in West Wiltshire.

VANESSA
EMMA
Emma is one of our professional hairstylists and has 30 years of experience. She trained with Wella and has developed in-salon experience at well established local salons. Being a natural people person, she prides herself on making people feel good and providing a professional and friendly service to each and every client.
WAN
TASH
Tash began her hairdressing career in 2009 and has continued training and expanding her knowledge ever since. Qualified in all aspects of hairdressing, Tash prides herself on her ability to create technical and personal colours and styles to suit each individual.
Tash’s love for hairdressing is always growing, along with her loyal clientele.
Jade
Hello my name is Jade. You may already recognise my face. I am one of the original “Old Girls” from “The Base Hair & Beauty” I am back and looking forward to becoming a part of the new team at T12.
I am a qualified level 1 2 & 3 NVQ (C&G) with matrix education certificate in men & woman creative cutting & colouring.
I have 10 years experience on a professional salon floor (not including 3 years of college time and along side working in surrounding salons).
I am excited to welcome new and old clients back to my working column.
Molly
Molly has been in the industry 8 years which she started straight after leaving school.
She is trained in all aspects of hairdressing, with her most recent training being in hair extensions.
Molly loves all aspects of hair dressing and making people feel good and confident about themselves!
KATIE
Katie is a freelance hair stylist who has been working in bridal hair for over 6 years. Katie has lots of experience in adapting styles to suit each individual client and prides herself on finding the perfect look for all of her clients. She originally took up hair styling because she loved the creative aspect and also loves the challenge of keeping up with the ever changing trends. Katie also offers nano bead hair extensions in Tiffany classic, Tiffany luxury and Viola hair.
Currently she is available for a range of services including Weddings, Proms, Special Events and Extensions. All Extension clients and hair trials/ styling will be offered in the salon on a Thursday or a Friday but Katie can travel to wedding venues for the big day also.
Ellie
You can find me at the salon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I can’t
SAM
Sam had been working in the nail industry since 2013, although qualifying as a dental nurse she has fallen in love with providing high quality nail treatments for her clients, Sam is now solely focusing on being a nail technician, bringing beautiful, long lasting results and promoting healthy nail care to her clients.
Having a knack for detail and an eye for creativity, Sam has a passion for nail art and enjoys all aspects from glitter to pretty florals although still loves the elegance of a gel colour or a French and leaving you with the perfect set of beautiful nails and that happy feeling as you leave the salon.
